Be My Valentine

For Valentines, I asked Mr. B not to get me anything.

A tradition that has been going on for every holiday of our five-and-a-half years of wedded bliss.

Do ya think maybe THIS time he might listen?

Me neither :D

Oh well.

A pound of See's chocolate is sounding AMAZING at this point in my diet.

Sandy Toes in Winter

It has been FREEZING here lately.
We haven't seen the sun for days.
The furnace barely has time to click off before it's warming up to turn back on.
It's about 20 degrees right now, and that's "warm" compared to the 9 we had yesterday.
Ice on roads and driveways and sidewalks is still inches thick in places from a storm we had over a week ago.
Ahhh warmth...*sigh*
This November, we took a trip to the ocean...played in the water...squished our toes in the sand...


All this cold makes me wish I were back at the beach.

Bubba's First Trip to Lagoon

Bubba and I went to Lagoon with my Friend Jamie and her son, who is Bubba's bud. We only got to go on the choo-choo, but it was fun. Bub liked looking at all the animals, but when we got to the cage that had a big toy ball in it, he about jumped out of his seat. It was a fun day!
